This photo illustrates spacing from the elements of composition. This is spacing because the three trash cans are in the front the in the middle there is just grass then in the back there is a stage.

Before
After

Example Composition - Lines

These three pictures are examples of elements of composition: lines. When taking a picture it is important to not have a boring background. And the elements of composition help with that. These lines draw attention to whatever you are taking a picture of & they also give the picture more meaning. This is why you should have one of the few elements of composition in your photo.

Elements of Art at School

In Pittsburg High School you can find the elements of art practically everywhere. If you don't know them they are Texture, Line, Shape, Form, Space, Color, & sometimes Pattern. some examples are that the building frames the stairway, their are many different textures of the water fountain, the aligning of the benches go with the ramps around it and the overhead. Also the light of the sun bounces off the buildings, all of the different colors from the painting of the pirate on the side of a wall , and lastly the arches over the stairwell with the clouds behind it looking at the statue in the fountain.

Composition

When I write an e-mail with Gmail, I click the compose button to start a new message. which the button is located on the left-hand side of your screen if you are on the computer.

When I begin writing a blog post ( like I am now ) i start it my clicking "new blog" then it takes me to a format to where i can type or add colorful fonts to make my blog look nice.

In photography, composition means the way the photo is arranged or setup.

Looking at Light

When I look at someone one and there in the light, depending on what there wearing like jewelry or glasses, the light will reflect of that object. Or if they are wearing a bright colored shirt or accessories the light makes them pop or look brighter and can define their face or depending on how good or bad it is it can also do the opposite of defining. The best light in my opinion is natural light instead of inside light or inside a room. But depending where your at outside say if the sun was behind a person or you were at a bad angle and you were taking a picture, your picture will get blown out meaning you can't see the persons face and the picture looks horrible. To fix that kinda have the sun in front of of the person you are taking the picture of.
